Video: watch Prodrive build an Aston racer in 60 seconds

Time lapse footage of GTE Vantage being built is hypnotic and excellent

Yesterday, Aston Martin Racing's Darren Turner talked us through what it was like driving a Vantage GTE racing car. Today, we can show you what it looks like to build one. In a minute.

Of course, the thing actually took longer than a minute to build; more like three weeks. This footage then, is merely time lapsed to show very, very quickly and broadly how the car looks morphing from skeleton to bewinged beauty.

The number #98 Vantage will race in this year's World Endurance Championship. Paul Dalla Lana, Pedro Lamy and Mathias Lauda will race this 2015-spec car in the AM class.
