The UK has held its first ever EV-only track day
Tesla specialists Tevo Solutions ran an all-electric day at Llandow last week
Here’s one that should ignite the Internet – last week Tesla performance specialists Tevo Solutions held the UK’s first ever EV-only track day at Llandow Circuit in Wales.
John Chambers, founder of Tevo Solutions said of the day: “The UK's first EV track day was a huge success. We had a diversity of different electric vehicles there. Hopefully this will be the start of many more track-based events where EVs are welcome.”
Driver coaches were on hand during the day and only full EVs or range extenders with combustion engines firmly switched off were allowed on track. Many Model 3s were present, along with Porsche Taycans, BMW i3s, an e-Golf and even a converted Porsche Boxster. Heck, even a Renault Twizy managed a few laps.
Thoughts on a silent track day, folks?
