The world’s first tuned BMW i3?

Published: 08 Oct 2014

This is a BMW i3 after an extensive programme of modification and a few cheeseburgers. Welcome, Internet, to the BMW i3 ‘EVO'.

It's been built - we think - by a Japanese tuning company called Eve Ryn, and gets a full suite of elements to ensure your already-rare electric supermini will stand out. Or something like that.

So, Eve Ryn has fitted wider, flared arches, a completely redesigned front bumper taking inspiration from recesses of the brain most substances just can't touch, a new set of side sills, a rear diffuser and a monster set of 20in wheels. With blue accents.

There is no word on any performance upgrades over the standard car's 170bhp powertrain, but this surely has to be the world's first modified i3, no?

You will no doubt have many questions, as we do. Please direct them responsibly below.
