This is a twin-supercharged Lambo Murcielago with 922bhp
The best part? It’s up for sale just in time for summer
The UK is gearing up for summer, which means three things are pretty much guaranteed to happen. Whole counties will descend onto 200m-long stretches of beach, if the weather holds out then the national press will claim it’s hotter than somewhere that’s usually very toasty, and our roads will be full of convertibles.
So, if you want to stand out from the crowd you’ll need something a little bit different – unique even – and you won’t find anything more outlandish than this.
‘This’ is a first-gen Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster with a full carbon fibre body kit and two superchargers bolted onto its already-punchy 6.2-litre V12. Blimey.
It’s known as the Seponas LM900, and is a joint project between German companies CDC International GmbH and ESV Edelstahlvertrieb, both of whom sound more like accounting firms than exotic tuners.
They weren’t messing about though. The result of that forced induction is a total power output of 922bhp (350bhp more than the standard Roadster) and 774lb ft of torque. It also means a top speed of ‘over 217mph’.
Thankfully, it’s not just the engine that has been worked on. There’s a high-performance braking system and a completely new suspension kit, as well as a racing clutch and that monstrous stainless-steel exhaust.
Our favourite feature has to be the three separate glass windows at the rear of the car though. There’s one to gaze at that huge V12, one solely for the two superchargers and another that shows off the intricacies of the exhaust system. Lovely stuff.
And yes, we know you’re dying to mention it – that petrol blue and beige interior is rather bold isn’t it?
The best bit? The LM900 is currently up for sale. It’ll cost its eventual owner just over £660,000, but with the roof off the noise alone will be worth half of that.
