This tuned Alfa Romeo 4C is called ZEUS
The third 4C from Pogea Racing gets awesome paint and a hefty power boost
If you’re getting a slight sense of déjà vu, don’t worry. You’re not going mad and we have – kind of – shown you this before. This is the Pogea Racing 4C Zeus.
When we brought you pictures of the first Zeus back in February, Pogea had painted it baby blue and matched that to an orange interior. Crikey. Now though, we have the Zeus003 by Eva Pogea – the third in what will be a ten-strong run of cars.
As you can tell by the name, this specific Zeus was designed by the German company’s Managing Director – Eva Pogea. With a kind of matte turquoise paint and that carbon fibre body kit, it's quite lovely.
The Zeus also features Pogea’s own coilover suspension, which drops the little Alfa by 50mm and helps no end with the looks. The presence of those headlights will rile some, though.
Thankfully the Zeus (can you tell we like the name?) also gets an engine upgrade to match the looks. Instead of the standard 240bhp and 258lb ft of torque from Alfa’s 1.7-litre turbo four-pot, there’s now 351bhp and 343lb ft. Better. As a result, 0-62mph now takes just 3.4 seconds and the top speed jumps to 189mph.
So, an even more beautiful 4C with even more power. However, it'll (deep intake of breath) cost ya. The Zeus is priced at almost £43,000. That’s before tax. And before the price of a 4C donor car. Ouch.
