Novitec’s new Ferrari Purosangue upgrade should make it sound like an old F1 car
Louder, lower and golder, this might just be the perfect spec for Ferrari's family hauler
Ferrari Purosangue owners: planning a trip to Bavaria any time soon? We’d suggest a stop-off at Novitec’s headquarters because its latest upgrade package to the super, definitely-not-an-SUV may be of serious interest to you.
Said package includes forged 23in alloys whose spokes look like royal carving forks, lowering springs to bring it an inch closer to the ground, plus a new performance exhaust system for even more bark from its naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12.
You actually get three options for the exhaust, including one with a flap gate for maximum ‘Yo, check this out’ effect. Unusually for Novitec, the performance remains unchanged, though 715bhp, 0-62mph in 3.3s and 193mph flat-out should still be plenty to rouse the senses. More so given it'll probably sound like an old F1 car.
Novitec is also said to be working on an aftermarket body kit for release in the coming months, but if you’re a little impatient, Mansory has already done its thing with the Purosangue. Yeah, might be better to wait.
