Novitec’s 745bhp ‘Esteso’ is a widebody Ferrari Purosangue with a *gold* exhaust
Because who doesn’t want a gold-plated Inconel exhaust for their SUV-that-isn’t-an-SUV?
This is the Novitec Esteso: a widebody Ferrari Purosangue with shiny new shoes and an even shoutier exhaust. Although actually, on first impressions it’s quite tame by Novitec’s standards (see the bonkers 296 N-Largo for proof).
The Esteso's chunkier hips add six centimetres of width and the lowering springs drop the ride height by 25 millimetres. The more aggressive stance is furthered by the new aero kit, which features an all-you-can-eat serving of sharper splitters all-round and a caved bonnet.
Elsewhere, you’ll spot 23in Y-spoked Vossen alloy wheels with a hint of negative camber and a wider-than-usual track to supposedly improve handling. Smaller changes also include carbon surrounds for the mirror caps and front wheel arch air vents, plus an F1-style rear light to ward off your local Golf R drivers.
There’s a tweaked exhaust too, which can be had in either stainless steel or gold-plated Inconel - with or without sound management too, depending on your relationship with the neighbours. With a new carbon air filter for good measure, the new system ups the 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12’s output to 745bhp (around 30bhp more than standard), though there’s no confirmation whether the 3.3s sprint to 62mph, or the 193mph vmax, are affected.
Reckon the Bavarian tuner is getting all grown up with its upgrade packages?
