Novitec has decided that the 1,000bhp+ Ferrari SF90 XX isn’t quite powerful enough

Agree with the German tuner? Wait, you do? Best step this way to find out more then…

The Ferrari SF90 XX Stradale is not a slow car. As ‘standard’ its V8 and hybrid system work together to produce 1,016bhp, resulting in a frankly obscene 0-62mph time of 2.3 seconds and a top speed of 199mph.

But of course, that was never going to be enough for the world’s tuners, so now Novitec has shown up with an even more powerful modified version.

We’re told that a new high performance exhaust system lets the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 breathe, so it now pumps out an extra 30bhp. That means total output now stands at 1,046bhp. Good grief.

Oh, and if you want to shave off a few more grams of weight, you can have said exhaust made from Inconel rather than the standard stainless steel, and you can do without the optional butterfly flaps for maximum noise.

Plus, if you then want to spend even more money (and apparently improve heat dissipation) you can have said Inconel paired with fine gold plating.

Surprisingly, there aren’t that many other modifications available to allow you to part with more cash. Novitec has worked with Vossen on a set of 20/21in forged wheels that won’t be cheap, there are 25mm lowering springs to stiffen the ride, and it’ll fit exposed carbon wingmirror caps should you so wish. But the aero-spec Ferrari styling remains mostly intact.

The first road-legal XX car was hardly a wallflower to begin with though, was it?
