The new MotoGP safety car shows off all the M3 Touring M Performance parts
New BMW M3 Touring not shouty enough for you? M Performance Parts has the answer
As you may have guessed from the stickers, lights and special ’50 years of M’ livery, this M3 Touring is the brand-new MotoGP safety car. It’ll make its race debut in August at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, but it also happens to show us the optional M Performance Parts catalogue for the very first time.
The parts offering looks similar to what you’d find on the M3 saloon and M4 coupe, only there’s no extra spoiler here (thank the Lord).
The strange pyramid-like ‘M Performance Silencer System’ exhaust is there though, as are the little front winglets and the protruding sill extensions. Would you spec any of those on your Touring?
If you can’t get past the stickers, BMW also happens to be displaying a similarly carbon-clad M Performance Parts M3 Touring on its stand at the (slightly damp) Goodwood Festival of Speed this week. Get a look below and let us know your thoughts in the comments…
