Mansory reveals one-off, 819bhp Lambo Aventador SV

Carbon J.S.1 Edition announced with more power and more speed

  • Lamborghini limited production on its 740bhp Aventador SV Coupe to just 600 examples. All of them have sold out. And it appears one-of-the-600 has been treated to some very unique customisation.

Meet the Mansory J.S.1 Edition, based on the Lamborghini Aventador SV – itself no wallflower – and tuned, primped and spruced up to look like the Dark Knight’s weekend car.

It’s a one-off, built for London-based James Stunt, and features a raft of modifications that require lots of space to digest. So, take a deep breath and click forth...

  • The engine has been upgraded

The 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated Lamborghini V12 was treated to a new power-box, as well as a brand new exhaust system, from the manifold right through to the exhaust pipes. Oh, and a new high performance air filter was added.

The net result is an increase in the ‘standard’ Lamborghini SV’s 740bhp to 819bhp, along with more torque (553lb ft).

  • The front has been treated to lots of carbon

There is a new carbon front bumper with ‘optimised’ air intakes – better for the radiator, we’re told – a new carbon front spoiler lip, bonnet and a new set of front wings.

All in, Mansory reckons these changes help bring about “huge benefits” at high speed. That'll be the downforce, obviously.

  • The sides have been treated to lots of carbon

Mansory’s new carbon side skirts are said to smooth the airflow between the front and rear axles, as well as allowing more air to enter around the engine and the bigger brakes.

  • The rear has been treated to lots of carbon

Swing around the rear – assuming you’ve not injured yourself on the pointiness – and you’ll spot a new carbon diffuser, and a larger, more purposeful spoiler.

  • There is a roof scoop

Scoop, meet roof. How very LMP1. All in, the carbon elements around the car help shave a whopping 50kg off the Aventador SV’s weight, taking it down to 1,475kg.

  • It’s a bit quicker than the regular Lamborghini Aventador SV

    Lamborghini quotes a 0-62mph time of 2.8s, a 0-124mph time of 8.6s and a 0-186mph time of 24s for the SV. Mansory’s one-off Aventador records 0-62mph in 2.7s, 0-124mph in 8.4s, and 0-186mph in 23.4s. See? All quicker.

Oh, and it’s faster at the top end too. 221mph plays against 217mph.

You'll also notice the interior has been treated to some redecoration.

  • It’s one of over 20 Mansory vehicles owned by James Stunt

James is a keen Mansory fan, owning more than 20 vehicles customised by the tuning firm, including a Range Rover, Bentley, Rolls-Royce and of course, Lamborghini.

No word on price – because it’s a one-off – but tell us, what do you make of the one-off Mansory Lambo?
