Mansory reveals Carbonado Aventador

Published: 17 Jul 2012

Mansory - yes, that Mansory - has done something weird. Something discrepant. Something.... not that bad. It's modified a Lamborghini Aventador. And it looks OK. Yes, TopGear.com, this was a surprise to the Mansory cynics in the Top Gear office too.

You may notice a gentle swelling of ‘grrr' about the one-of-six Black Diamond Carbonado. That's because the Swiss tuner's fitted a front lip, pair of front wings, bonnet, side skirts, rear fascia with an integrated diffuser, rear wing, engine cover and roof made entirely out of carbon fibre.

Things have taken a small dive for the excessive around the wheels - they're 20-inch fronts and 21-inch rears with carbon inlays. Nice tyres, though - 255/30 and 345/25 on the back.

Power's also got a kick in the bullock. The V12 gets a new air intake, exhaust, and ECU remap and now makes 745 hp at 8,300 rpm and 553 lb-ft of torque. That means it'll get from 0 to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and on to 220 mph. Crumbs.

Do you like the new, restrained and relatively un-disgusting Mansory, TopGearcommers? Or do you prefer its old stuff?
