Mansory has modified a Ferrari Monza SP2

Because more power and more carbon is exactly what Ferrari’s two-seat speedster needed

Published: 20 Jul 2022

No matter what you think about Mansory, you couldn’t accuse the German tuner of not being brave.

Take its new venture for example – it calls it Mansory Bespoke, and it basically means it’ll tune any make or model of car you like as long as your chequebook is blank enough.

Clearly the very first customer had very deep pockets, because not only have they commissioned some work from Mansory Bespoke, but they have had it applied to their one-of-499, £1.4m Ferrari Monza SP2.

We can’t say we ever expected to see one of Ferrari’s ‘Icona’ cars wearing those signature Mansory wheels, but here we are. It also gets a new carbon fibre front lip, sharp carbon sills and a monster new diffuser. Oh, and Mansory has added a stripe for good measure.

There’s more power too. The 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 has been treated to a remap, a new air intake and that new red-tipped exhaust system for a total of 818bhp. That’s up from 799bhp as standard. Should be enough to rearrange your toupée.

The interior – if you can call it that – has also been retrimmed, with a black driver’s seat and red passenger seat.

So, what do we think folks, is a modified Monza sacrilege?
