Honda Insight news - Insight for sore eyes? - 2009

Ever wondered what the offspring of an Imperial Storm Trooper and an Apple Mac mouse might look like? Especially if that offspring, upon hitting its teenage years, decided to enter the shady word of gangsta rap?

The answer, luckily, is that it'd look almost exactly like the Honda Insight hybrid by Japanese tuning firm Exclusive Zeus.

As concrete proof that there's literally nothing that modifiers won't modify, it features a giant speedbump-averse bodykit, blingy wheels and a shiny new front end that, despite ourselves, we actually don't hate.

Presumably in keeping with the Insight's eco-credentials, Exclusive Zeus has chosen not to boost up the power - but couldn't it have fitted a nice discreet wind turbine on top? Or filled the headlights with algae?

Currently only available in Japan, the kit costs around £2,000 on top of the £16,000 you'll pay for a new Insight. For that sort of money you could buy, er, a Prius...
