Here’s a one-off Lamborghini Urus inspired by Miami
The new paint is called ‘Blue Glauco’, and it’s set off by various black and grey lightning bolts to remind you of… a city that rarely sees lightning
Miami is a pretty cool place, and Lamborghini’s Ad Personam team have attempted to recapture its lively, colourful culture with this one-off Urus SE. Though we’re getting some serious anime vibes from that shiny new livery.
It took an extra 230 hours of painting and testing over a standard version of the mildly successful SUV to create, which likely includes several dozen hours of binging Naruto for inspiration. Er, we mean patrolling Ocean Drive.
Its colourways consist mostly of ‘Blue Glauco’ with streaks of black and grey lighting bolts and aqua-coloured pinstripes, all to pay homage to The Magic City’s mix of ‘style and artistic flair’. We’re not really seeing it in truth.
The cabin gains unicolour leather upholstery and bespoke kick plates, with a commemorative ‘Miami’ logo on the dash above the polished carbon fibre. The standard fixtures have been left to their devices, and include a typically jet-fighter-inspired centre console and a pair of 12.3in infotainment and driver displays.
No mechanical changes to report either, so the 4.0-litre twin-turbo plug-in hybrid V8 engine should still catapult you from 0-62 in 3.4s, courtesy of 789bhp and 701lb ft, plus a top speed just shy of 200mph.
Ad Personam has been very busy of late, particularly with the Revuelto, recently theming one around the brightest stars in the night sky and another on the island of Sardinia. Reckon it should just come out with a full-blown Dragon Ball Z spec next?
