Hennessey Venom GT shoots thunder

In it's fullest state of tune, the Hennessey Venom GT packs 1,200bhp and will hit 62mph in just 2.9 seconds. It also weighs around 1,000kg. You will require a set of titanium-dipped plums.

That power comes courtesy of a 6.2-litre twin turbocharged Chevy V8 built using dark matter and fuelled on snake's blood. We saw it in the flesh and something cold began crawling up ours...

Now it's creator, John Hennessey, has just released this video of the GT strapped to a dyno. Nothing entirely special about that until... well, just watch. Remind you of this?
