Has Mansory’s 1,085bhp SF90 outdone Ferrari's own XX Programme?
German tuner creates the F9XX. Is surely expecting a call from Ferrari any day now...
Mansory has unveiled its take on the Ferrari SF90, and that’s pretty much all you’d need to know to be able to imagine the content of the images above.
Even still, this is quite the effort from the German tuner. As you might be able to tell from the giant graphics it’s called the F9XX, and it does kind of seem like Mansory is trying to outdo Ferrari's own XX Programme. Mansory describes the work as a ‘complete conversion’, though it’s the poor, unsuspecting SF90 that we feel for.
There is of course more power. The three electric motors have been left untouched, but Mansory has tweaked the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 so that the combined output now totals 1,085bhp.
Apparently 0-62mph now takes 2.4 seconds, and the F9XX’s top speed is 221mph.
There’s a new exhaust system to shout about the extra performance, but you’d no doubt noticed that already thanks to the four giant exits in the middle of the bonkers rear end. New wheels too.
Pretty much everything else is made from marble-effect forged carbon fibre. Mansory describes the additions as “optical charms - clear and free of any doubts and compromises". Of course.
There are new spoilers, wings and vents everywhere you look, with increased downforce and better cooling apparently the result. Mansory says the F9XX kit is available on the coupe or the SF90 Spider, but if you go with the roofless version you miss out on the roof scoop. Shame.
And then there’s that interior. Apparently every possible surface is coated with leather, and wherever that isn’t possible carbon fibre takes its place.
Thoughts, folks?
