Attention Premier League footballers: your new Overfinch Range Rover has arrived

If you’re not sold on the retro style of Overfinch’s Heritage Field Edition – the Brit firm’s £285,000, V8-engined take on a Range Rover Classic – then we have some good news for you.

You see, Overfinch calls this its ‘most significant release for over a decade’, because of course it is a modified example of the L460 Range Rover. Footballers, please form an orderly queue.

So, what mods has Overfinch made? Well, the clean, uninterrupted surfaces of the new Rangie are, erm… gone. In their place sits much carbon fibre, including new grille pieces, a front lip, aero-spec side skirts (which probably don’t have too much actual aero effect), a roof-mounted spoiler and a rear diffuser that houses some monstrous exhausts.

There’s a new rear lightbar across the back too, plus mahoosive 24-inch wheels and plenty of Overfinch badging. In fact, we’re told that there’s “subtle, illuminated branding” which sounds like a bit of an oxymoron to us.

Inside you get restyled seats with diamond quilted and perforated leather, and we’re told that there’s a “kaleidoscopic range of interior colourways and options to choose from”. What those options actually include is still a mystery.
