Mansory modifies another G-Class with jaw-dropping results
Suicide doors flank the GRONOS Coupé EVO C, of which only eight will be built...
Bespoke custom car builder Mansory has been at it again. Once more taking a Mercedes-Benz G-Class and putting its own, highly unique spin on things.
And on this occasion, the interior is less vomit-inducing than the Mercedes-AMG G63 P600 Special Edition UAE it revealed last month.
No, the ‘Mansory Gronos Coupé EVO C’ is a ‘worldwide derivative’ featuring matt metallic bodywork, suicide doors and angelic white upholstery. And yes, you can still rely on peak-bonkers performance.
That's because the G63 engine has been tuned up to release some 900 horses, and with 886lb ft of torque it achieves 0-62mph in a blinding 3.3 seconds.
And to cap it all off, the four-door base model G-Class as been converted to a two-door coupe beast. Presumably because you'd never get anyone to sit in the back seats of their own free will...
The conversion programme has been over one and a half years in the making, and only eight of these green, gold and black beauties will be made. Beauty being very much, of course, in the eye of the beholder.
Also, there’s an armoured version, available upon special request. Because of course there is.
