We won't spoil it for you, but this year's most watched video on TopGear.com was, well, quite a surprise. The shortlist was strong, from an Enzo going rallying, a compilation of crashes at the Nürburgring, exploding dynos and even the sound of next year's Merc F1 car.
But the number one spot? Well, the winning entrant combines many key elements of all these videos, and wraps it up very untidily in one three-minute clip. Set to some opera music. Here, without further ado, are TopGear.com's ten most watched videos of 2013.Advertisement - Page continues below10. Earlier this year, Team Dynamics - who run Honda's BTCC outfit - decided that ordinary lawnmowers are (a) boring and (b) too slow. Enter the TG lawnmower, capable of 130mph, 0-60mph in four seconds and of emitting a little bit of fire. This is grass-cutting the only way Stig knows.
Watch the video here9. Oh dear, that's not gone well. As Brian Gillespie attempted to push his first gen Honda Insight past the magical 200mph barrier, something went wrong at 178mph, and he, erm, crashed spectacularly. Trading on some form of luck we've yet to encounter, Brian managed to survive this horrific crash. His wife, Mrs Gillespie, logged on to TG.com to tell us Brian is doing OK too. We like the Gillespies.

Watch the video here7. Quite simple really. A classic Fiat Cinquecento, pumped up and installed a 6.2-litre V12 straight out of a Lamborghini Murcielago. That's around 580bhp. In a Cinq. Because, well, why the hell not?
Watch the video here6. Woah, motorsport just got incredibly tiny and hugely fast. Like 205mph fast. Welcome to Tether Car racing: a mixture of NASCAR and supersonic swing ball. It started in the 1930s, and continues today with two-foot long cars using proper race-grade parts. Top speed? 205mph...
Watch the video here5. This one makes for eye-watering viewing, so tread with caution. Man straps his GT500 Mustang onto a dyno to try and accurately determine its power output. Something goes horribly, horribly wrong, and all that energy is released... in a ball of sparks and noise. Ouch.

Anonymous YouTuber ‘TaxTheRich' caught our attention with this rather delightful effort, showcasing him/her/it nailing a collection of hypercars in the privacy of a country estate. We're talking Ferrari F50s, an Enzo, Bugatti EB110 SS, RR Phantom II and torching the wheels on a Jaguar XJ220. Philanthropy at its finest.
Watch the video here3. Sheesh, a bit of a hot potato this one. Keen F1 fans will know that the current 2.4-litre V8 engine will be axed in favour of a turbocharged 1.6-litre V6 engine for 2014. But what we all want to know is: how will they sound?
Mercedes was the first to draw blood, releasing a short audio teaser of Hamilton and Rosberg's 2014 engine. And boy, judging by the tidal wave of comments, you certainly had a lot to say about it.

It is a rabid Doberman that will bite your ankles, pee on the sofa and chew up your carpet. Here, in a handy compilation video, is an edit of enthusiastic ‘Ringers (is that a Thing?) who have fallen foul of the forest.
Watch the video here1. Fire? Check. Explosions? Check. Inexplicable screaming into the wilderness? Double check. This, ladies and gentlemen of TopGear.com, is your most watched video of 2013: the first trailer for upcoming car movie Need for Speed. Yes, it's based on a video game, which at least partly explains all the wanton destruction. Plot? Who needs plot?
