The latest Lego Technic model is a Ferrari 488 GTE

Last week Lego unveiled the new Technic McLaren Senna GTR. It looks like a fantastic bit of kit, but as art imitates life, the Lego McLaren already has a rival from Italy.

Yep, this is the first ever Lego Technic model designed in conjunction with Ferrari. It is, as you’ll probably have noticed, the Lego Technic Ferrari 488 GTE AF Corse #51.

The little endurance racer is made from 1,677 Technic elements and features working front and rear suspension, a V8 engine with moving pistons and the full AF Corse tricolore livery. Lovely stuff.
