New Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet?
As Top Gear's Sam Philip was pottering along to work this morning in his borrowed Nissan Murano, one thing immediately struck him: this would be good without a roof, and lots of added chassis flex!
Actually, we're lying. Of course it didn't. But Nissan seems to have had thoughts along those exact lines recently, because lo and behold, this morning also saw the arrival of a press release with a picture of the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet.
It is apparently the world's first all-wheel-drive crossover convertible, or, a 'Big Soggy Mess', delivering 'open-air exhilaration' of a drop-top with the non-roading abilities of a Murano.
The press release details the exciting things you can carry in your Murano CrossCabriolet: four adults complete with golf bats or luggage. Even with the roof down!
We're officially "not sure about this".
It'll hit the LA show stands later this week, and will appear on some American drives in early 2011. Presumably ones from 1980s Miami.
