Italian Rozzers get two Evoras

Some Italian police have taken delivery of a pair of very British sportscars. And by some Italian police, we mean the Arma dei Carabinieri. And by British sportscars, we mean the Lotus Evora S.

It's fair to say Italy has its fair share of exotica for the Carabinieri - a division of the army - to choose from, but they decided to plump for something a little more Lotus-ey.

And their Evoras are, naturally, a bit special. They've got voice recognition tech and a portable fridge for storing vital organs and blood for rapid transport. Not cans of Fanta, obviously.

Only a select bunch of the Italian military police will get to pilot the Lotuses, after a special driver training session at Hethel. Click through for the pics...
