Watch the F1-engined AMG One head up the hill at Goodwood

After what seems like decades of waiting, the AMG One has finally arrived. We were given the full tech download from Merc’s project lead Marco Lochmahr a few weeks ago, and now we’ve been treated to it running up the hill at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Check out the video above from Goodwood’s YouTube channel. The One sets off in its standard road-going mode, and we have to admit we were a little worried at how quiet the 1.6-litre turbocharged hybrid V6 seemed.

Thankfully it then stops outside the Earl of March’s house and drops into the full-aero race mode, at which point we get to hear a little more of the 1,048bhp.
