RIP to the Ford Focus ST: here are TG’s greatest ever pics
The last ever Focus ST has rolled off the production line. Is someone chopping onions in here?
If the Internet is to be believed, the final Focus ST rolled off the production line at Ford’s Saarlouis plant in Germany last Friday. Sad times.
Of course, we knew this day was coming. Ford had already confirmed Focus production was ending in November this year (with no replacement planned), but we’re still hugely disappointed that the wonderful hot hatch has been sent to live on a farm far, far away. At least it’s got the Fiesta ST for company.
Anyway, rather than wallow in a pool of hot hatch pity, we thought we’d celebrate the good times. So, up above is a gallery of our favourite Focus ST moments from Top Gear's history. Including: endless group tests, a full family gathering in the Alps from 2019, a trip across the US without using any interstates in 2012, and some brilliantly vintage hot hatch shots featuring an ST170 from way back in 2002.
