Goodwood FoS 2016

Meet Mansory's wild, 790bhp modified Ferrari 488

Get ready for the UK debut of the 'Siracusa 4XX' at Goodwood

  • We saw it first at Geneva. Now, people of Britain, you will see it at this weekend's Goodwood Festival of Speed. It is none other than Mansory's wild take on the Ferrari 488 GTB.

Sure, the 661bhp Ferrari 488 GTB isn't exactly the kind of supercar that screams for more power or aero, but hey, since when has Mansory played by the The Rules?

So, what you get is a 790bhp bumblebee, capable of accelerating from 0-62mph in 2.9secs (down 0.1sec from standard) and a top speed of 212mph. How has Mansory achieved such gains? By installing a tweaked ECU for the 3.9-litre turbo V8 in the middle, along with strapping on a special new exhaust system.

The springs are 20mm lower to cope with the additional power, while you'll no doubt spot the new aero addenda dotted across the 488's body. There are lightweight wheels, 20 inches at the front and 21 at the back, lots of interior decoration and a whole dollop of yellow.

See if you can catch it in action this weekend on Lord March's driveway...

  • Just check out that rear. The diffuser and dual rear spoiler are for directing air around the car. Because grip. And downforce.

  • Mansory has fitted on 'striking' new side sills, while the carbon housings for the mirrors and front wings are meant to show off the tuner's design language. I.e. 'wild'.

  • More wing. Ferrari FXXK-lite, anyone?

  • Everything is covered in leather with coloured seams, and 4XX logos on the seats, doormats and door sills.

  • All very Alien inside here, isn't it?

  • Much carbon fibre, too. Press the button, and hold on tight...
