Startech gives the V8 Aston Martin DB11 603bhp

This is a modified Aston Martin DB11. Of all the supercars that tuners deem prudent to speedify, Aston’s new DB11 doesn’t really feel like a good fit.

But, make it fit they have. Specifically, a new ECU to the DB11’s V8. Remember, that’s an AMG-sourced V8, and Startech/Brabus have much experience with AMG tuning, hence the mod.

The new control module introduces a special map for the injection and ignition, and ups the boost pressure so you’re now looking at 603bhp – up from 503bhp – and 590lb ft of torque.

A performance exhaust rounds off the mechanical upgrades, which shave two tenths of the V8 DB11’s 0-62mph time – 3.8s vs 4.0s – and top speed of 193mph (versus the standard car’s 187mph).

There are some visual tweaks too. Obviously. A new Startech front spoiler, rocker panels, a naked carbon diffuser, a central LED backup light like F1, and a copper top for the roofline. And 21in wheels.

The one on display in Geneva features grey leather, carbon, chrome and copper, quilting and embroidery on the seats, and a Startech steering wheel.
