The Czinger 21C is a new hypercar from California

The newest entrant into the hypercar stable is a bespoke hybrid built in the USA

Published: 12 Feb 2020

The ‘C’ is silent, Internet, though the noise it’ll likely make at its Geneva Motor Show debut next month probably won’t be. A new hypercar is entering the stable, and it is called the Czinger 21C.

Named after company founder Kevin Czinger, said new hypercar is a bespoke, ground-up design featuring a hybrid powertrain of unspecified quantity. All we know is this hybrid setup is ‘strong’, and will be slotted into a “cutting edge chassis” and “bespoke structure” made from high-performance componentry. Like carbon fibre. Lots and lots of carbon fibre.

Designed and built in Los Angeles, Czinger says the 21C “is a paradigm shift in the way performance vehicles are conceived”; there’s certainly something novel about the seating, because it’s inline. Tandem. Just like that mad Yamaha OX99-11 and the Carver One.

You can pore over some details and a shady pic of the full car via the gallery above. Before you do, a final note from its makers: “Czinger has crafted a revolutionary hypercar fit for the 21st century.”

We’ll find out when it’s revealed on 3 March, 2020. Watch this space.
