WRC 24’s Le Maestros DLC pack revisits the era of French dominance from the ‘90s to the 2010s

Six new vehicles, 12 historic stages and some very familiar liveries

Published: 21 Jan 2025

Let’s all just take a moment to appreciate an EA title that’s doing things right: WRC just keeps getting better, and it doesn’t keep asking you to shell out for a new base game every year in order to keep enjoying it. Exhibit A: the new Le Maestros DLC pack.

So named because it’s themed around the French dominance that lasted throughout the ‘90s to the 2010s, the pack contains six new vehicles – the Citroën Xsara Kit Car, Peugeot 206 S1600, Citroën C2 R2 Max, Citroën C3 WRC, Citroën DS3 WRC 2012 and Volkswagen Polo R WRC 2013 – and twelve historic stages, including the infamous Fafe stage in Portugal.

That Citroën-heavy lineup is replete in the liveries in which they appeared in their pomp, so if you fancy cosplaying as monsieurs Ogier or Loeb while you tackle the new content including new ‘Moments’ scenarios, fill your boots. You can check it out in more depth in this trailer.

Each content pack is priced individually at £8.99, or you can pay £24.99 for the bundle and get all packs released during the season.

That’s a great way to build on an already compelling base game, and in a moment such as this when annualised sports and racing franchises are looking for new ways to do business as gamers tire of paying full game prices for minimal annual updates, Codemasters is offering a beacon to light the path forwards.

Also some cool rally stages and cars. Quite important, that bit.
