This is real-life Mario Kart

The world's most prolific video game characters appear in the World's Best Selling Racing Video Game, the World's Most Critically Acclaimed Kart Game, the World's Longest Running Kart Game Series and the World's Fastest Selling Kart Game.

But you don't need the Guinness Book of World Records to tell you how delightful Mario Kart is; chances are, you've played it already and can attest to its majesty.

Now, for some unexplained reason, two Japanese gentlemen saw fit to dress up like the world's most recognisable Italian sinksmiths, jump into a pair of 40mph, 4bhp X-Karts and take to the streets of downtown Tokyo to bring joy to many unsuspecting but appreciative people.

If loving this game is wrong, we don't want to be right. Enjoy.
