Uh oh, Ferrari is even messing up pit stops in its adverts now
Ferrari’s promo material for the new SF-24 F1 car includes a strangely slow pit stop
It would seem as though Scuderia Ferrari’s strategy and pit stop struggles aren’t just limited to race day. Heck, a slow pit stop has even managed to work its way into the promo material for the new SF-24…
Just have a look at the video in the Tweet below if you fancy a giggle. Ferrari itself describes the stop as “poetry in motion”, but that front-left wheel seems to go on rather slowly, doesn’t it?
In fact, the TG stopwatch has clocked it as a 3.48-second stop, which is some way off the 1.8-second world record stop that McLaren managed to pull off at the Qatar Grand Prix last year.
Didn’t anybody ask the director for another take?
