Welcome to the all-new TopGear.com!

Yep, we’ve finally got a new website. Have a poke around and tell us what you think

Published: 06 Jul 2015

Welcome to the all-new TopGear.com. Yes, after years running a website constructed of balsa wood, rubber bands and blind hope, we’ve finally entered the twenty-first century of internet.  Apparently it even works properly on mobile cellphone devices.

Lovingly bashed together in the Top Gear Technology Centre’s state-of-the-art leaky garage, it truly is an all-new site. No mid-life facelift here, rather a new-from-the-ground-up design, built on a modular, lightweight, aluminium-intensive chassis. Possibly.

Now, we know change is scary, but all the stuff you’ve known, loved and loved-to-hate from TopGear.com is still here – only in (definitely) higher-res, (hopefully) less clunky form than before.

There’s a heaving hi-def video archive of Top Gear telly clips – including exclusive behind-the-scenes footage you won’t find anywhere – along with a host of new-car films from the TG magazine crew.

You’ll find all the latest news from the world of cars here, and our massive, interactive car review section here.

We’re also debuting our patented Big Reads Featurisation Technology, serving up Top Gear’s trademark blend of gorgeous photography and the best writing in the business. Check out our Ariel Nomad feature, and our big Bugatti Veyron road trip, in which we took the 1200bhp GSV the length of Route 66.

However, in traditional Top Gear Technology Centre fashion, our shiny new site may have a few rough edges here and there. Big panel gaps. Loose bolts. Unattached steering columns. That sort of thing. Some call it ‘unfinished’. We prefer to think of it as ‘personality’.

If you do happen to spot a broken link, garbled page or, y’know, strange portal to a parallel dimension, please let us know and we’ll do our best to fix it.

So have a poke around, and tell us what you think of the all-new TopGear.com below…
