Mopar has tricked out the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon with even more off-road goodies

Just 250 are being built solely for the North American market at a cost of over $72,000 each

Mopar has made the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon a little more suited to do battle at the Colosseum, by adding more off-road-focused gadgetry and splashing it with a menacing exterior paint scheme.

Said external changes include a new heavy-duty rock rail, grille guards, grab handles and 17in aluminium wheels wrapped around Falken all-terrain tyres. Clearly, it will have its vengeance.

There's also exclusive Mopar-themed headliners, redesigned floor mats and blacked-out sill trim inside, because what it does outside, echoes throughout... the inside.

Unfortunately, the list of changes hasn’t seeped through to anything mechanical, so the Mopar Rubicon still has a 3.6-litre ‘Pentastar’ V6 which puts 289bhp and many, many torques to the road through a six-speed manual or eight-speed auto box. Are you not entertained?

Sadly, it’ll strictly be for the North American market, with each of the limited-run 250 units attached with a pre-option starting price of over $72,000.
