It's your first look at the next-gen Honda Civic
Prototype Civic teased ahead of full reveal at Geneva in March, on roads in 2017
The four-door saloon version is already out in the US, but today, Honda has released the first sneak peak of its upcoming all-new Civic hatch via this shady new teaser. Though it's only a prototype, it certainly promises to be interesting.
The prototype hatch is set for a worldwide premiere at the Geneva Motor Show next month, with Honda promising that the all-new car will redefine its “core European model”. This new Civic is scheduled for its market debut in early 2017, and it'll be built in the UK in Swindon.
When the new 2017 hatch arrives, it'll feature Honda's new 1.0-litre turbocharged three-cylinder engine (that replaces the 1.8-litre naturally-aspirated turbo), along with a 1.5-litre turbo too.
We'll find out more at Geneva. Until then, you’ll have to work out whether or not you want one based on the rear-end alone...
