The eight-seater LEVC luxury MPV is coming to the UK
It’s built on an entirely new platform, and will pave the way for a fleet of other new all-electric products to follow
It’s official folks: you’ll soon be able to ferry your grandmother and all six of her friends to Friday night bingo with LEVC’s all-electric L380 MPV. Prototypes are being prepped for testing as we speak, with the brand confirming a 2026 UK launch following its home debut in China this year.
Having made its name by electrifying London’s black cabs, LEVC will look to find similar success with the L380, which utilises the manufacturer’s new ‘Space Oriented Architecture’ (SOA) platform built in partnership with Geely. It will be the first in a range of new all-electric products bound for the British Isles, all of which are expected to use this same platform.
The L380 will be available in three, six, or eight-seat configurations, but that’s about all we know for the time being. Speculation does point towards a potential 268bhp electric motor which drives the front wheels, while a 120kWh battery could provide around 400 miles of range. It all sounds very… normal. So granny should love it.
Alex Nan, LEVC boss, said: “We aim to have a presence in over 40 countries in the coming years, with multiple new models based on the SOA platform leading the way. L380 is the first demonstration of the future vision for LEVC, launching the business into an entirely new sector.”
Similarly to the mechanicals, LEVC has kept the pricing for the L380 under wraps, but we expect this to be revealed in the coming months.
