Exclusive clip: 'Getaway'

TopGear.com has been granted an exclusive video clip from Ethan Hawke's lastest film, Getaway, which you can view above.

The plot runs something like this: Hawke is a former racing driver (aren't they all?), "pitted against the clock" in a bid to save his wife who's been taken hostage. The only thing at his disposal is a Shelby Mustang GT500 he commandeers to track her down.

Only thing is, the GT500 has an owner - one Selena Gomez - who joins Ethan on his quest. Judging by our clip, it's a quest that does away with the hyper-CGI style of many modern drivin' flicks in favour of a stripped-back, C'Etait Un Rendezvous vibe.

Getaway will hit cinemas on Friday 6 December, so check out the clip and tell us what you think. And we're sure we don't need to spell it out but, real as it might look, this is a sequence filmed by pro drivers on closed roads. Don't try at home, etc...
