Wow, BMW’s upcoming all-electric M3 makes some wild fake noises
BMW continues to update us on its 1,000bhp EV. Hear it for the first time here…
In case you weren’t aware, BMW has been running a YouTube series to slowly unveil what we assume will be the first ever all-electric M3. In the very first episode back in December 2024, it confirmed that its prototypes were using FOUR electric motors to create massive power.
We now know that the power figure is around 1,000bhp, and in this latest episode we get to hear said prototype for the very first time.
You can watch the full eight-minute video below if you’re interested in vehicle testing and M division boss Frank van Meel talking about how to make 1,000bhp EVs fun to drive, or skip to the final 20 seconds to hear the electric M3’s fake noise for the very first time.
Anyone else convinced they’re just playing an audio file from The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift? That is some bonkers fake turbo whoosh on full throttle. Perhaps Hans Zimmer just has a real fascination with leaf blowers.
Anyway, have a listen below and let us know what you think in the comments…
