The very first production Rimac Nevera has been finished
After going through 18 development and pre-production cars, Rimac is almost ready to ship Neveras to customers
The 1,888bhp Rimac Nevera is so nearly here. After TG, um, 'helped' with cold weather testing in the Arctic Circle a couple of months back, Mate Rimac has now announced that the first proper production car is finished.
Said first car is chassis 000 and will be kept by Rimac, but customer cars are already heading down the new production line – although it’s worth noting the Nevera isn’t being built at Rimac’s upcoming mega campus. That’s still being constructed, so Mate found a temporary solution in the form of an abandoned shopping centre just outside Zagreb. We like Mate.
The new Bugatti boss made a YouTube video to celebrate the journey that the Nevera has been on, with 14 of the 18 prototypes and pre-production cars gathered together in the same room.
Have a watch by clicking these blue words, then tell us what you think of the spec of car 000. Turquoise with tan leather? We like it a lot…
