This is our best look yet at the Polestar 3 SUV

Turns out that Polestar absolutely loves a teaser image and long drawn-out unveilings. Back in June this year, it gave us our first glimpse of the new 3 SUV, albeit under a sheet. Hmmm. Now there’s another – this time a single image of a camouflaged prototype. 

There’s not really any more detail on the 3 to go with the image, but at least the duvet cover has been whipped off. We already know that it’ll be a ‘premium electric performance SUV’ and that it’ll be built in the Volvo plant in Charleston, South Carolina.

Polestar boss Thomas Ingenlath has said that the 3 will be ‘one of the most climate-responsible cars ever’ and that it’ll be the first of three new cars launched over the next three years. Crikey, whole lot of threes going on.
