At long last! The world’s press has finally got a taste of the Tesla Cybertruck, and that’s reassuring news to customers that have seen the grey hairs pile up during the lengthy waiting process.
Regardless of whether you’ve put your name down for an entry-level, single motor version or the 845bhp range-topper, a long list of optional extras will be offered to amplify what is one of the world’s most anticipated cars, if not the most divisive.

A retractable lightweight mesh frame, Tesla will even throw in a zip pouch for stowing it away when the weather gets… British.
Colour paint film (£5,134)
A black or white vinyl wrap that’s built with sustainability in mind, the ‘paint film’ is sadly not yet being offered in anything more vibrant.

A similar wrap as above, but this is essentially a mock-up of the Cybertruck’s standard metallic paint coat.
Centre console tray (£32)
It’s a bit strange this isn’t included as standard, but for £32 Tesla will add a central storage tray.
Underseat storage bin (£197)
Even more cubbyhole storage. How untidy can a person possibly be?
Carpet interior mats (£122)
One of the cheaper optional extras, and one that still feels like a tad bit of a rip-off. Likely poor at absorbing Fruit Shoot.

Floor mats made from ‘thermoplastic elastomer’ materials, whatever that means. Likely good at absorbing Fruit Shoot.
Tailgate ramp (£316)
In essence, this is a ladder that folds as well as extends. Children can also use it as an imaginary launch pad to attempt to thrust their teddy bears into orbit.

Despite the sci-fi looks, the Cybertruck is still intended for off-road use and that’s proven by an add-on awning.
Crossbars (£632)
A useful tool for monkey bar enthusiasts that want to try and work against gravity, as opposed to with it.
L-track hooks (£20)
A pair of hooks that can be strapped to the l-track, which then act as tie-down points.
L-track cleat (£20)
An alternative to the hooks, the l-track cleat is used for tow straps and o-rings among other off-road items.
D-rings (£32)
Built from forged steel and finished in a ‘powder’ coat, the d-rings are useful anchor points that help to spread towing pressures.
OMFG decal (£43)
Inspired by the Cybertruck’s infamous launch event stunt, this limited-edition vinyl can now represent a cracked window after refusal of a Happy Meal to rear-seat passengers.
Vault cargo divider (£276)
A truck bed divider created from rigid aluminium, posing as a funky alternative to a plank of wood.
Molle panels (£197)
Provides further augmentation to the truck bed, the Molle panels can allow an extra 45kg of items to be hung vertically.
Vault cargo bins (£178)
Essentially, these are Tesla-sponsored storage boxes that follow the same design theme as the truck bed, so people will know if you opt for substitutes.
Gear lock dividers (£36)
A divider for the Cybertruck’s secret storage compartment, and useful for separating your dirty underwear from your clean ones.
Bumper protectors (£63)
Extra rubber lining to keep your Cybertruck’s rear bumper looking sharp. Though, we are wondering why there’s nothing being provided for the front and sides.
Spare tyre and tool kit (£986)
Alongside the extra Goodyear tyre and Cybertruck wheel, you get a tyre pressure monitor system included in this adult spin-off to Dora the Explorer’s backpack.
Air compressor ultra and tyre repair kit (£434)
For those that want to ditch the Goodyear tyre for a second-hand one, this cheaper option retains two of the other main components.
Snow chains (£272)
One of the more adventurous accessories is a XD-16 Pro snow chain by Italian specialists KÖNIG. This is particularly useful if you live in Dubai.
Cyber wheel cover (£59)
An individual replacement for the original 20in cover. Perhaps you could negotiate a ‘four for the price of three’ deal if you apply the same charm you do with your local fruit and veg dealers.
