Everrati has electrified a Land Rover Series IIA

Fancy a new-old Land Rover with heated seats and an EV powertrain? You’re in luck

Oxfordshire-based EV restomodder Everrati is really cranking through the models, isn’t it? We drove its 500bhp electric Porsche 964 back in June this year, and only a month later it announced an electrified Ford GT40 that set the internet on fire.

Now it’s back with something a little different – a fully restored Land Rover Series IIA that has also been given an all-electric powertrain.

The basis is a 60kWh battery that provides a real world range of around 125 miles, whilst an electric motor offers up 150bhp and 221lb ft of torque (more than double what you’d get from an original Series IIA). There are both two and four-wheel-drive modes too, as well as hi/low ranges. Like with Everrati’s other projects, though, the EV powertrain swap is fully reversible.

Every panel and part is stripped at the start of each build, and the chassis is then galvanised and coated in a protective zinc process to prevent future corrosion. As it’s rebuilt, customers can choose between a modern or traditional canvas roof, whilst a safari hard top is also available. The wheels are upgraded and are fitted with Michelin tyres, there’s proper power steering and you can even spec heated front seats. Luxury.
