The DEUS Vayanne will be a new electric hypercar from Austria
With input from Italdesign and tech from Williams Advanced Engineering, no less…
Welcome Internet, to some slightly dark and grainy teaser images of today’s new electric hypercar.
This one comes from Austrian startup DEUS Automobiles, and the Vayanne name apparently originates from Vienna. Handily, DEUS has provided us with a phonetic spelling for both the make and model – ‘day-oos vy-ahn’ is how we should be pronouncing it.
There’s no technical details available just yet, but there is a chance that this one might not actually be vapourware. Apparently both Italdesign and Williams Advanced Engineering are on board in some capacity. Big names.
We’ve brightened the teaser shots up for you in Photoshop, better to look at that promising exterior design. We’ll see the finished article on 13 April at the New York International Auto Show, and hopefully some more facts and figures will be released then too.
So, how much power do we reckon day-oos will be claiming? And will it have the tech to topple the Lotus Evija or the Rimac Nevera?
