Yes, this is a roofless Lamborghini Huracan

It’s not in any way real or official, but it should be: designer comes up with idea for Huracan ‘Speedster’

This is a roofless Lamborghini Huracan. Before those words sink in too deeply, some caution: it’s not real, nor is it in any way official. What it is however, is very excellent.

It’s the work of TG.com’s good friend and Photoshop extraordinaire Jon Sibal, who has decided to create a sort of Lamborghini ‘Speedster’ using the new V10-engined Huracan as a base.

So, while the rest of the Huracan’s angular body remains intact, the roof has been chopped away, along with the windscreen too. All that remains are two slivers of protection for the driver and passenger, a set of wild, chrome BBS wheels and, um, a Stormtrooper. ‘For fun’, Jon told us.

Like we said: totally unofficial, totally not-a-real-thing, and very, very cool. Of course, Lamborghini itself has form in this sphere of operation: witness the roofless 2005 ‘Concept S’ Gallardo that’s coming up for auction. Or indeed, the excellent Aventador J. Perhaps this Huracan Speedster isn't such a far-fetched idea after all...
