Yeah, this isn't a real Tesla hypercar. But it needs to be
Somebody has rendered an all-electric Tesla to battle LaFerrari and co. Looks incredible
Tesla doesn't make a hypercar. Yes, the Model S P90D boasts a 0-62mph time that'd keep many supercars honest. But something to battle the likes of LaFerrari, the Koenigsegg Regera and McLaren P1? Not so much.
So the people over at Carwow decided to indulge in a game of fantasy. The above two renders - completely not real, unofficial and in no way representative of anything that Tesla may or may not be working on - show one potential concept of a Tesla hypercar.
They've labelled it the 'Model R', and have imbued it with Tesla's 'traditional' design cues - the wing badge, ‘T grille’ and wheel designs.
That's about yer lot. Look at it. Imagine. Then begin lobbying Mr Musk for something similar.
