Toyota Camatte57s concept revealed

  • Like Meccano? Dislike doors? And being able to buy things you like? Welcome to the Camatte57s concept, a car unveiled at this week's Tokyo Toy Show that will never, ever go on sale.

    Here's why.

The body's a fretwork of 57 panels painted in the colours you see for a few dazzling seconds after looking at the sun, and the seats can be adjusted so children can drive it (don't worry, Health & Safety enthusiasts, the position of the right-hand rear seat means adults can help with steering and braking. No, really).

So, a car for kids with the torsional rigidity of a Sour Cream and Chive Pringle. We're not sure there's much of a market for this, fun as it sounds...
