Pininfarina teases sports saloon
This is what the new Pininfarina sports saloon will look like. No, not the chocolatey space bubbles to the left, but the Star Trek-inspired thing on the right.
Yes, that same legendary coachbuilder that gave us the original Alfa Romeo Spider, Ferrari Testarossa, Maserati Quattroporte and, erm, the Focus CC, is readying a "luxury, environment-friendly sport sedan", set to make its debut at this year's Geneva motor show.
It's called ‘Cambiano', named after the city that hosts the company's HQ. It also comes on a rather special year, marking 30 years since the Cambiano-based styling centre came into operation, and ten years marking the start of the engineering centre.
Pininfarina tells us the Cambiano "is an elegant and refined sport sedan, conceived with great attention to the environment, both as to the engine and as to the materials' choice". And since there are literally NO MORE DETAILS, we shall now indulge in making some rather obtrusive engine noises, like this gentleman.
While we're doing this, why not provide some meaningful conjecture on what engine and drivetrain you'd like to see in the Cambiano, bearing in mind its "environment" brief?
