It's Peugeot’s 875bhp Vision GT car
Few companies do wacky, irresponsibly powerful concept cars like Peugeot does wacky, irresponsibly powerful concept cars.
There's the 500bhp 308 R, the V12-engined 908 GT, the 908 RC - a luxury limo with the 700bhp V12 HDI from Peugeot's 908 Le Mans car - and the copper-bodied Onyx. The list goes on. And on.
And now this. It's called the Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo, and it will appear exclusively in Gran Turismo 6 alongside similarly bonkers concepts from the likes of Merc, Mini, VW and Nissan - all of which were designed to celebrate the gaming franchise's 15th anniversary.
So, yeah, it doesn't actually exist, but that hasn't stopped Peugeot from cooking up some juicy, fictinoal performance figures.
Zero to 62mph? 1.73 seconds, thanks to the mid-mounted, 875bhp, 3.2-litre V6.
Like the Koenigsegg One:1 (which actually exists, don't forget), Peugeot says its Vision boasts a power-to-weight ratio of 1bhp per kg. From this, we deduce it weighs around 875 fictional kilograms.
Those alloys, behind which lurk ventilated Brembos, are 22-inchers in front, and 23-inch wheels out back. The whole car stands just 104cm tall, which makes it 9cm lower that a Ford GT.
Got the game? You'll get the swoopy Pug as part of a free update, so keep your eyes peeled.
