The Man from UNCLE, Guy Ritchie’s new Sixties spy flick, is an unashamed celebration of the most glamorous decade of the lot, not least its cars.

Well, we say ‘car chase’. It’s more a man-chase-car, as Arnie Hammer’s Illya Kuryakin hunts down Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill) and Gaby Teller (Alicia Vikander) in their glorious, period-correct, um, Wartburg.

Yep, Wartburg. Sorry we couldn’t get hold of the bit with the Ferrari 250 GTOs and the E-Types and the old Astons, but it’s always good to reacquaint yourself with post-war East German metal, right?
