Gallery: highlights from the 2023 London Classic Car Show
The classics were back out in full force in Kensington this year. TG picks out its favourites
Last week Olympia London opened its doors for the ninth edition of the London Classic Car Show. An event which you'll need no reminding is a safe haven for classic car buyers, collectors and enthusiasts alike.
The venue was described as 'the historic home of motor cars', apparently in reference to its stint as the host of the British International Motor Show between 1905 and 1936.
Which is a bit like claiming you're descended from royalty, only it's a ninth century monarch and so is literally everyone else.
Anyway, we digress. Whether you were a window shopper or impulse buyer, the event catered for all, with the auction in particular showcasing some of the best classics from around the world.
Everything from German, to Japanese, to French... All tastes catered for, like a pancontinental buffet.
And of course, some anniversaries were celebrated too: did you know the Porsche 911 turns 60 this year? And that the Corvette hits 70 in 2023? Big birthdays, those.
So tell us classic enthusiasts, what catches your eye from our selection of favourites above?
