You can now buy the Queen's old Bentley

Previously owned by Queen Elizabeth II, this Mulsanne could be yours for £200,000

  • The Bentley Mulsanne pictured above was reserved for the exclusive use of Britain’s longest reigning monarch, beginning active service during the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations back in 2012.

Retired from its duties two years later, the 6.75-litre, 500bhp saloon has ticked off 10 Downing Street on its list of exclusive stop-offs, greeted in person by the Prime Minister during its sub-5000 miles of royal chaperoning.

Fast-forward to 2016, and the vehicle is now up for sale on Auto Trader with a trivial price tag of £199,850. Pittance... if you’re the leader of the Commonwealth, that is.

As well as the low mileage, the car also comes with all of the features you’d expect to find at the ridiculous end of the spec sheet.

The vanity mirrors, door panels and picnic tables are finished in a sophisticated walnut burr, complemented by the leather interior on the inside and the 21-inch alloy wheels on the outside.

Whoever buys the Bentley will have to reset the sat nav though, as the home address is currently set as ‘Windsor’. Turning up on that particular doorstep uninvited might not be a wise move.

Auto Trader’s Karolina Edwards-Smajda said: “What makes this Bentley particularly stand-out is that it was reserved exclusively for use by her Majesty and it has gone on sale in the year the Queen celebrates her 90th Birthday.”

Get an offer in before it’s too late: a monarch-owned Bentley is bound to be the crown jewel of your garage...
