This is the last ever Jaguar F-Pace, and it’s a slightly disappointing special edition
The 90th Anniversary Edition will be applied to the R-Dynamic trim as Jag's SUV gets its last ever update
After almost 10 years and well over 300,000 units sold, Jaguar will retire its F-Pace SUV next year. Coincidentally, 2025 also marks the brand’s 90th anniversary… can you see where we’re going with this?
Bingo! The final version of the Jaguar F-Pace is called the ‘90th Anniversary Edition’. It’s based on the R-Dynamic trim, and can soon be purchased with many options that… already exist on the car’s configurator. Talk about a lazy send-off, right?
Anyway, said options include diamond-cut alloys, a panoramic roof and privacy glass. We mustn't forget the aluminium interior trim, contrast stitching and ebony headlining that you definitely wouldn’t have seen on the configurator before, either.
These can then be applied to the ‘S’, ‘SE’ and ‘HSE’ models, with a choice of pure combustion, mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid engines also offered.
And if you’re wondering why we’ve not mentioned the 400 Sport and SVR versions, that’s because neither will be offered with 90th Anniversary Edition badging.
No bother, because there’s still time to nab yourself one of the snarly, range-topping SVR 575s that come fitted with a supercharged V8. It might just be the last properly rowdy combustion car that Jaguar ever makes, which doesn’t make us sad at all. Seriously, who's cutting onions?
This is all because Jaguar is set to become an all-electric brand in 2025, but we're now a fair way through 2024 and yet to lay eyes on anything that'll be sold alongside the I-Pace. Anyone else a little bit worried?
